Description

E-Z-RECT Type 1 is a heavy duty hand load storage system that is perfect for storing heavy and bulky items in any workplace environment. Made from strong industrial grade components that interlock without the need for nuts and bolts, Type 1 racking is both easy to build and structurally very solid. Despite being capable of holding loads up to 430kg per shelf, each shelf remains fully adjustable in height to allow you to tailor each section to the stock being stored.

This particular unit is 5ft high which allows the top shelf to be easily accessed from ground level. There are a multitude of widths and depths available to suit your requirements, you can also choose the number of shelves that are included to help you create your own bespoke shelving solution. Our Type 1 units are sold as either full standalone starter bays or simple extensions (add-ons) that combine to create cost-effective long runs of shelving.

Delivery times vary, every product will state an estimated lead time which we will endeavour to meet, we will keep you informed should there be any delays. Some items like lockers, cupboards, mobile shelving etc.. are not held in stock and are made to order. All delivery times are estimates. Deliveries are made during normal working hours (typically 8.30am - 5.30pm). Goods will be dropped off at KERBSIDE and will require a signature. If you need an item delivered urgently or by a set date please call us in advance of placing your order.

Important note: Our Longspan, Type 1 and Trimline racking systems are normally delivered on large pallets, components (especially those over 2m in length) can be difficult to offload from the delivery lorry without a fork lift truck and may require hand-unloading. Please ensure that you are capable of off-loading and handling these large, heavy goods before ordering. If you have any questions regarding this please call us on 01993 779494. These are also typically delivered on large vehicles, if there are any access limitations to your site please let us know in advance.

To calculate the overall length of a shelving bay please add 40mm for each upright.

The table below shows the overall length of shelving runs in mm when using a single starter bay and subsequent add-ons.

For the overall depth of a shelving bay please add 25mm to the nominal size specified.
