Trespa Locker Changing Room for OSRL

EZR Shelving supplied Trespa changing room lockers and benches to Oil Spill Response Ltd (OSRL) in Southampton, working in partnership with Space & Solutions.

The refurbishment project involved Bench Seating and Trespa Lockers including a number of bespoke locker solutions.

OSRL is the largest global oil spill response organisation fully funded by major oil companies around the world, providing response teams, training and technical solutions in the event of an oil spill.

OSRL's new changing room project needed to provide a durable and functional facility for 75 people to 'clean down' and change following an oil spill emergency.

The Lockers were fitted with Trespa doors, which are impervious to moisture and scratch resistant, making them ideal for environments where heavy use and frequent cleaning are expected.

OSRL's requirement included a continuous run of lockers that curved through a 90° angle and lockers that were set back into a void in a wall.

One of the recessed lockers is a 'false locker' providing access to the incoming water main.

The curved locker wall was achieved by fixing spacers to the top of the lockers to maintain a constant radius.

Lockers in the male changing room were finished in Trespa Athlon 'Polar' blue using 13mm thick Trespa material.

The female changing room was finished in Trespa Athlon 'Fresco' green to compliment the decor.

Bench seating was provided in both changing rooms with a timber effect foil covered MDF slats for ease of cleaning.

A combination of full height and part height Trespa doors were fitted to the lockers and the lockers with part height doors were designed with a letter box slot at the bottom to provide ventilation and to enable debris to be removed from the locker well.
